Los Angeles, CA – Adelson, Testan, Brundo, Novell & Jimenez, a leading national Workers’ Compensation defense firm is proud to announce that Marie Rose Bloomer, the firm’s Managing Partner of it’s Berkeley Heights, New Jersey office has been selected to receive the prestigious New Jersey State Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section Jack O’Brien Award recognizing one that has made a lifetime contribution and impact throughout their career to the practice of Workers’ Compensation.

Ms. Bloomer’s substantive and ethical expertise has been recognized by the Division of Workers’ Compensation not only by Proclamation but also in an appointment to the Judicial Performance Committee since 1995. Ms. Bloomer was appointed Chair of this committee that oversees the conduct of all Workers’ Compensation Judges from 1995 to present.

Ms. Bloomer has been elected by her peers to serve on the NJSBA Workers' Compensation Executive Committee since 1986. She served eight years as an officer, including Chair, and has been honored to be the only present Past Chair to be re-elected to the Executive Committee.

The entire membership of the New Jersey State Bar Association elected Ms. Bloomer for three consecutive terms, six years, as a Section/Committee Trustee. Ms. Bloomer has been appointed to the NJSBA Legislative Committee for over ten years as Chair, Co-Chair or Vice Chair for over five years. She was instrumental in establishing the first Bar Day with the Legislature in Trenton.

Ms. Bloomer has been Chair of both the NJSBA Election Committee and Meetings and Program Committee. She has served on the Long Term Planning Committee and Finance and Operations Committee. Recently, the Director of the Division of Workers' Compensation appointed Ms. Bloomer as Chair of the Task Force on Medical Witness Fees and her Committee's report was adopted in full by the Division with a solution that added no expense to the employers of New Jersey.
