LAW FIRM ANNOUNCES NAME CHANGE, RECOGNIZING MANAGING PARTNER
Susan Novell’s Name Added to Adelson, Testan, Brundo, Novell & Jimenez
VAN NUYS, California, January 15, 2013 – Adelson, Testan, Brundo, Novell & Jimenez, a national law firm with more than 130 attorneys, today announced it is changing its name to Adelson, Testan, Brundo, Novell & Jimenez. The new name, which is effective immediately, recognizes the contributions of Susan Novell, managing partner, Northern California, who has been with the firm since 1998.
“Our new name reflects the outstanding leadership that Susan Novell has provided our firm over the years and underscores the prominent role we expect she will continue to play in the expansion and development of the firm in the future,” said Steven C. Testan, founder and senior managing partner of Adelson, Testan, Brundo, Novell & Jimenez, which focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation defense claims and related matters.
Ms. Novell, a member of the California State Bar since 1991, has practiced workers’ compensation law since 1992 and specializes in catastrophic claims. Earlier in her career, she was the senior staff workers’ compensation attorney in Los Angeles County for Zurich North America Insurance Company.
She earned a B.A. degree from the University of Washington and a J.D. degree from Gonzaga University School of Law. Ms. Novell is certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization in Workers’ Compensation law and earned the prestigious designation of Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) from the CLM Litigation Management Institute.
