McDONALD’S RECOGNIZES ATB’S SOPHIA CACOS AS A 2012 “MOST VALUABLE PARTNER”
2012-11-15
On behalf of the entire ATB team, I am both pleased and honored to announce that Sophia Cacos, Esq., Regional Managing Partner, Southern California for Adelson, Testan, Brundo, Novell & Jimenez, has been recognized by McDonald’s Corporation as its 2012 Most Valuable Partner: Outside Counsel, Western Division.
Sophia received the award earlier this month during the McDonald’s two-day Partnership Convention held at Hamburger University in Oak Brook, IL.
The award is based on Sophia’s work on behalf of McDonald’s during the past year and was bestowed in recognition of her excellent representation for the McDonald’s Corporation’s Workers’ Compensation Division and Workforce Disability Division.
Ever since ATB was initially retained by McDonald’s in 2010, Sophia has forged strong relationships with McDonald’s employment attorneys and its workers’ compensation claims team. In providing oversight and direction to ATB attorneys, she has worked diligently to make sure each of the McDonald’s workers’ compensation cases assigned to ATB is handled both efficiently and in accordance with the client’s emphasis on the fair and equitable treatment of all of its employees.
Sophia, who joined ATB in 2004, has distinguished herself through consistently outstanding client work and leadership. In addition to her responsibilities as Regional Managing Partner, Southern California, she is the Managing Partner of ATB’s Long Beach office. She recently earned the prestigious designation of Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) from the CLM's Litigation Management Institute.
Sophia’s achievement with McDonald’s is a reflection of ATB’s firm-wide focus on providing superior client service. In all our client relationships, we strive to be not only a legal partner, but also a business partner and trusted advisor. Since our founding in 1996, this approach has been a cornerstone of our operating principles as we continue to focus on achieving excellent results for our clients.
With best regards,
Steven C. Testan
