ATB’s Oakland Office Supports Charitable Endeavors
2017-12-20
Attorneys and staff of ATB’s Oakland office showed some holiday spirit by supporting three charitable organizations in the city. On Dec. 2, ATB made a donation to the Midway Shelter for Abused Women and Children and the office participated in the shelter’s 5K race and 1-mile walk, which also raised funds for the Alameda Midway Shelter for Abused Women and Children. Two days later, the office supported the DreamCatcher Shelter by making a donation and preparing duffle bags filled with clothing, cosmetics, blankets, pillows, and books for several girls staying at the shelter. Finally, with Susan Novell, ATB’s Regional Managing Partner, serving as a member of the Workers’ Compensation Toy Drive Reception Committee, the Oakland office helped raise more than $30,000 and 39 large boxes of toys, as well as a red tricycle for disadvantaged Oakland children. “Even though many of us are personally involved with various charitable causes throughout the year, we all found it especially rewarding to participate as a team and support these incredible programs,” said Max Breall, ATB’s Oakland Managing Partner. ATB’s efforts in Oakland are part of ATB Cares, which involves each of ATB’s 26 offices around the country in community outreach activities. Click here to read the news release issued Dec. 20, 2017.
