Bio

James Kim is a graduate of the University of California Davis where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He then went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from the University of California Davis School of Law in Davis, CA. While in law school, James was a member of the Business Law Journal and Moot Court and served as a team captain in the King Hall Softball League.

Mr. Kim was admitted to the California State Bar in February 2021. Prior to joining Testan Law, James worked at another Workers’ Compensation defense firm as well as a Plaintiff-side Personal Injury firm. He has represented insurance carriers and employers at the Los Angeles, Van Nuys, Oxnard, Marina Del Rey, Anaheim, Santa Ana, and Long Beach WCAB Venues.

In his free time, Mr. Kim enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with his friends, family, and beloved dog.
